The concept of evil can be shrouded in subjectivity, often dependent on context. Nonetheless, certain individuals stand out as unequivocally malevolent, transcending differing perspectives on morality.

Lucy Letby, by her own admission, seems to fit into this category.

On August 18th, a verdict was reached, declaring the 33-year-old nurse guilty of the murd3r of seven newborns and the attempted murd3r of six others. These chilling acts were carried out during her tenure at the neonatal unit of Countess of Chester Hospital, making her the most notorious serial child murd3r3r in recent British history.

However, the extent of her crimes might extend even further. The jury remained divided on six additional suspected incidents.

The gravity of these actions cannot be overstated. Letby's own words reflect the grim reality: "I am a horrible evil person," as stated in a rambling note discovered at her residence.

Employing a variety of lethal injections, Letby executed her d3adly plans and attempted k1llings over a span of one year, between 2015 and 2016. Interestingly, there were signs that raised suspicions about her conduct.

Medical experts at the neonatal unit began noticing a disturbing spike in infant mortality, coinciding with Letby's shifts. Astonishingly, hospital management dismissed these concerns, inadvertently permitting the continuation of these heinous acts.

The wheels of justice turned, albeit slowly. Letby was apprehended in 2018. Now, with a unanimous guilty verdict from the jury, she faces the possibility of an exceptionally rare full-life sentence.
